all my readers…! Some days back, I was totally indulged in my university
activities so didn’t find enough time to write about a practical money making
scheme bubbling in my mind from about two months ago. YouTube is the world
largest video sharing portal, right? But what If I tell you that now I am
successful in figuring-out some solid ways to make some extra money using that
free platform? So today I will be explaining some implementable ways. I am
using the word “implementable” because when I went through some articles
previously written on the subject I found some nice articles written but for
gurus only and not for One thing I must
tell you is to be patient. It is not like
(1)Getting GPT Referrals Via Promotion at
YouTube
Idea:
Recruit people under yourself by referring them to GPT (Get Paid to) sites like
CashCrate, by showing them how they can
earn some extra bucks easy way every month.
Difficulty and
effort score: 5 out of 10
Earning potential: You can earn $1500+/month, if you do niche
segmentation. This means targeting right audience at right time.
Explanation of
Idea: Now
as you are in the search of some way to make some extra money every month, same
is the case with other people too. “Get Paid to” websites commonly known as GPT
sites pay small amounts for doing variety of tasks like doing surveys etc. For
example, there is one most popular website known as Cashcrate. Cashcrate
pays about $2 everyday for doing 2-3 small surveys every day, plus there are
tons of free offers which you can do to grab some extra bucks. You can make a
YouTube video showing people how they can make (some) extra money doing few
minutes surveys everyday at GPT sites.
A smarter choice can be to target a
smaller niche. For example, you can make a video targeting teenagers or
students, who are always in the need of some extra money anyway. This way your
video will gain more exposure and right audience. Typically you get $1 to $5
for every referral plus most of the GPT sites grant you share of your
referrals’ earnings too, for life (typically 20-30%).
Here is the listof most popular generously paying survey and GPT sites. By the way,
CashCrate is my favorite GPT site as it pays you $3 for every referral as soon
as he or she reaches $10 account balance, which is not difficult to reach

(2)YouTube Video Monetization Using CPA
Offers
Idea:
Earning bucket loads of money is no more an idiom with the advent of CPA. And
believe me people; earning $100/day with CPA is not difficult using YouTube
video promotion, provided you have the right information.
Difficulty and
effort score: 6 out of 10
Earning Potential:
$3000+/month is not difficult to reach, but exact amount depends upon many
factors including choosing right niche etc.
Explanation of
Idea:
CPA stands for cost-per-action or cost-per-acquisition. It is similar to affiliate marketing except that you
don’t need to make a sale, instead, the referred person needs to perform some
action only, (like sign-up, email/zip submit, download etc) in order to earn
you commission. The scheme is to choose some hot CPA offers and promote them
via YouTube. For example, after registering with some CPA network I will choose
some email/zip submit offer since they convert more (since user don’t need to
buy anything at all instead, mere submission of email/zip code will suffice to
earn you commission which typically ranges from $1 to $20+, depending on the
niche you choose). It is that simple…!
Next step is to make a YouTube video convincing the
viewer to complete the action (e.g., email/Zip submits etc) by clicking the
link you will place in the description of that video. Hundreds of people at fiverr.com are willing to make high
quality videos only for $5 bucks, so you can hire someone there if you are not
too good at making videos. You need to give your CPA referral link in the
description present at the bottom of your video. In the video, you have to
peruse the visitors to sign-up with the link to avail the service you are
offering.

(3)Make Money on YouTube Sharing Content
Via ShareCash
Idea: Placing
“most wanted” content (cracks, cheats, promos and similar things) at Sharecash
and then promoting it via YouTube.
Difficulty and effort
score: 3 out of 10
Earning Potential: $300
to $3000 depending on effort.
Explanation of
Idea:
Sharecash is a paid to download website but instead of holding you pennies for
your effort like other pay-per-download sites, sharecash actually pays you upto
$1 per download. Yes you heard it right there…! But the restriction is that
they accept US traffic only.
Now as we all know, we have to pay the price in order
to get something valuable and same is the case here. Whenever someone wants to
download a file from sharecash, they put a survey before proceding to download
page.
Now that is some thing frustrating and people will only
try to get through the hurdle if they are going to get something really useful.
Now what it can be? It can be anything like cracks,
cheats for games or even simple ebooks about fat loss.
While scrolling through forums I was surprised to know
that many people have exploited some techniques making them over $500 every
month and month after month. And YouTube can be a way.
You can earn more than $300 per month via sharecash and
people like you are doing that. In one of my article I have discussed some an

(4)Make Money from YouTube Video Views
Idea:
Making attractive videos for advertisers at MyLikes.com and start making money
off YouTube video views straight away. Moving in right direction, you can make
more than $300+ per month.
Difficulty and effort
score: 3 out of 10
Earning Potential:
$50 to $300 per month and if you are serious then you may earn more.
Explanation of Idea: Another way to make
money on YouTube is direct payment on your video views. Recently I stumbled
upon a website called MyLikes.com, where you are paid directly proportional
to the views received by your video. Actually you make a video for an
advertiser at Mylikes and as soon as your video is approved, you are paid
according to the rate set by advertiser.
This scheme may not make you as much
money as you like, especially when compared with the above mentioned CPA and Sharecash
methods, however the effort is also minimal and you can see money coming-in
readily due to short term approach when compared with other methods. The guys
behind Mylikes are the same who worked in the development of adsense and other
Google products (two ex-Googlers) so no question on legitimacy.
(5)Indirect Blog Promotion via YouTube
Idea: Supplement your blog
traffic by diverting free traffic from YouTube to your blog. But this can be
successful for some specific niches only.
Difficulty and
effort score: 7
out of 10, but it can bring loads of non-stop traffic to your blog.
Earning Potential: Major dependence is on niche and effort, but
measuring in terms of traffic, you can gain thousands of visitors a day.
Explanation of
Idea: This involves creation of
a blog based on some niche. For example, I have seen people promoting
bodybuilding blogs on YouTube with a link to their blog presented at the start
and at the end of video (you can also place link in description). Same is the
case for cooking niche.
World’s largest video sharing portal is always crowded
with people and you get a nice chance to direct people to your blog. A nice way
to accomplish this is to make a dedicated channel to gain a sense of
personalization. You may require to do some sort of niche research before “jumping-in
blind” because competition is growing with the passage of every single day on
YouTube too.
(6)Promoting Other’s videos from YouTube
Idea: Promoting readymade
“interesting” YouTube videos by placing them on your blog and then promoting it
via social media like facebook, twitter, MySpace etc. In other words: Set up a
free blog at blogger.com and pick a set of videos on some striking topic and
promote it on social media until it goes viral. Monetization will be done by
placing adsense ads and CPA offers.

out of 10, but it is more of a luck and idea than effort.
Earning Potential: Not definite. Can
vary a lot depending on the scheme used.
Explanation of
Idea: With
the advent of social media, now news spread like a fire in jungle, as I have
experienced it many times in past and you can’t even imagine, if you had never
thought things that way. Few days ago, when I was surfing the web, a friend of
mine sent me link of blog (built on blogger) where someone had put five funny
videos under the title “five dumbest people in history”. The videos were cool
however, and were on some celebrities and the former president George Bush.
But
to my surprise, another friend of mine who was not ever in contact with my
previous friend, sent me the very same link in evening. Minutes later three of
my other friends sent me the same link and once again. I got stunned after watching such a viral promotion
and at first revived myself of the power of social media which I had forgotten
long ago. That blog was monetized by placing CPA ads.
However schemes like this don’t dependent on effort and
you will succeed only if you compile something attractive enough to gain people
attention with some idea and on the other hand it should be general.
It is
however, not that difficult to find such a thing because there are tons of interesting stuff on
YouTube and the only thing you need to do is to compile it at one place and
give it an initial push by sharing with your family and friends.
Once your blog goes viral then the question arises
about how to monetize your efforts? Because you targeted general audience now
the ads should also be general. And again here enter the CPA offers because
they pay well and a lot of them can be placed in front of general public with
excellent conversion rates. For example, you can place offers which enter the
applicant into lucky draw for a chance to win free iPhone 4 only for submitting
zip/email (Who don’t want to get a free iPhone?). These types of offers typically
pay $2 - $3 for every submission.
(7)Going Somewhat More Professional
Idea: Utilize real
potential of YouTube by promoting affiliate products in a more professional
way.

effort score: 8
out of 10
Earning Potential: Ranging from tens of
thousands to millions of dollars per month.
Explanation of
Idea: This
Scheme requires more sincerity and dedication to be successful. Have you not
heard of the guy who sold $ 1 million worth tongue brushes via video promotion
on YouTube? (Some days back I was reading an article on a reputed blog that a
middle aged guy did this without having any company, office or shop). The whole
idea is to make some professional compelling videos (making a channel would
seem more professional) about some product and build trust.
Don’t you know that video persuasion is more converting?
This strategy may take up more of your time but don’t forget about the rewards
you can reap once your video catches views. And remember, showing professionalism
is the key to success here. And in this case hiring someone at fiverr should
not be sufficient instead; you should outsource your work to some professional
which you can do at oDesk or eLance. Or if you are tight at budget
then move to fiverr. I have seen decent videos out there which were made by
hiring someone from fiverr. At least it can help you take a start to move
toward some better option.
(8)Get Accepted into YouTube Partner
Program
Idea: Placing
your full focus on developing quality videos and growing views until you get
accepted into the YouTube partners program, how many views you need to get
entry, I cannot say about any number but if your videos are gaining good number
of views (thousands of views per day, for example) then a chance is that you
may be invited.
Difficulty and
effort score: 9
out of 10.
Earning Potential:
Sorry I have no idea because Google is reluctant to disclose but I guess it
must be in range of tens of thousand US dollars.
Explanation of
Idea:
And this is the hardest one; I believe it is more of luck than effort. If it
were to be due to effort then it would not be the matter for an individual
instead, you might need a corporate.
If you become successful to grow yourself into a
publisher having thousands of video views per day then you may get a mail from
Google as an invitation for inclusion into their Youtube partner program.
As
a partner you are bestowed with monetized video views. However, partner program
is based on individual videos and not whole account views. Moreover, this
program is allowed in some selective countries only.
